Stripe is used to process payments.

Stripe’s own technologies are also subject to Stripe’s applicable policies.

6. NETLIFY

Netlify provides Website hosting and server infrastructure.

Technical requests to the Website may result in processing of network and server information necessary to deliver, secure and maintain the Website.

Not all technical processing involves placing a cookie on your device.

7. RESEND

Resend is used for email infrastructure.

Email-delivery systems may process delivery and technical information associated with emails. Any email-related tracking technologies actually enabled must be assessed and described appropriately.

8. ANALYTICS

Mirror of the Trader offers optional Google Analytics 4 (GA4) on public website pages to understand pageviews, general engagement, and which sources lead visitors to those pages. Google may receive information such as browser/device characteristics, pages viewed and approximate location. We do not send account passwords, journal entries, psychological test answers or member profile details to GA4.

GA4 is not loaded until you actively select “Accept optional cookies.” If you decline, we do not load GA4. If you later withdraw permission, future GA4 tracking stops and our website attempts to remove its first-party analytics cookies. Data previously collected while permission was granted may already have been processed.

When permitted, GA4 may use cookies including _ga and _ga_* to distinguish browsers and measure visits. Their retention depends on your browser and the GA4 configuration; Google documents a default retention of up to two years for these cookies. Learn more at Google's cookie information.

9. ADVERTISING AND PROFILING

Mirror of the Trader should not be described as using advertising, behavioural profiling or cross-site tracking cookies unless such technologies are actually implemented.

If advertising or profiling technologies are introduced in the future, this Policy and the Website’s consent controls should be updated appropriately.

10. NON-ESSENTIAL COOKIES

The optional Google Analytics tag is not loaded before permission is granted. Both “Accept optional cookies” and “Reject optional cookies” choices are offered with equal prominence. Declining analytics does not block access to the Website.

Your analytics choice is saved in your browser's local storage under mott.analytics-consent.v1, so the Website remembers it without activating analytics cookies. Analytics never runs, and no choice is requested, on the member area, sign-in, account activation, password reset, checkout or the reading preview pages.
